Hi, I'll visit the Nordin Europe mid-Dec, to catch the northern light. I plan to stay 3 days in Lofoten Islands in Norway. Then take train from Narvik to Lulea, onward to Finland. I'm now thinking about making an overnight stop along the route. Can anybody sugguest me where to break journey? Is stopping at Kiruna a good idea? I know that in big city, there will be too much light reflect to the sky and making it not dark enough. Is there still good chance of seeing the northern light in Kiruna? What else can I do (except the winter activities)? Any suggestions are welcome!
