Has anyone stayed there, particularly in the 4 bedroom house/villa? Please respond with comments about the quality of the accomodation and service.

Yes, we stayed in Cumberland Villa recently, and it was fabulous! We were met at the airport by the very friendly managers, and given a short tour of Burnt Pine on the way. We were then given our own minivan (free of charge!!) which was really great because we could travel around as a group (there were 7 of us).

The Villa is located at the rear of the complex, and it is very modern and spacious. It has timber floors, leather couches, etc. We loved watching cable TV and movies on the large LCD TV. There were quite a few of us in our family staying there, but it never felt crowded and we never had to wait for a bathroom, as there were three separate bathrooms, and toilets. We enjoyed our very comfortable King bed with an en-suite bathroom.

We enjoyed a couple of great evenings in the the swim spa pool which was like bathwater it was so warm and relaxing! It gave us time to catch up as a family. We also had our own BBQ and private garden area, which we used quite a lot.

We can highly recommend Cumberland Villa (as well as the other cottages which we were looked at). It is central, clean, modern and very convenient, and has so many facilities. We didn't have time to try our all the facilities. Our own complaint was that our holiday was over after 7 days and we had to leave. We will be back!! Norfolk Island is a great holiday destination. Remember to try Emily Bay - what a place.
