by johngayton Online Now Oct 24, 2008 at 5:43 PM

Following a recent visit to Nijmegen I am building a little page here on VT and want to know if anyone knows about this (second transportation tip) - Nijmegen Transportation Tips by johngayton It looks like a feebie city shuttle but I can't find any info about it anywhere. Any ideas anyone?

Hi PJ - that's useful. I've now found an article in Gederlander which I'll persue. Cheers, John.

I think what you saw was the Sloar Road Train, hired bij the Nijmegen Hezelstraten shopkeepers to transports shopper s from the Parking lot at the Harbour to the Joris Ivensplein (where the Hezelstraat starts). Other participants are "Stichting Oude Stad" (Old Nijmegen City Society) and the maker of the Solar Roas Train SOIOS. More at: soios.nl/indexweb.php?taal=E... PJ
