Transfer at Lagos Airport

I am set for a couple hour layover/transfer in Lagos Airport (traveling from Benin to Egypt)... I don't see any special requirements or hassels, but with all the negative I read about this country I just want to be sure... Should I expect to pay any fees, have to go through customs/passport control or get a visa (unlikely, i believe). Just don't want to be caught off guard. No, I don't really have time to leave the airport. It should just be a simple and routine transfer, nothing special.
