just got confirmed that the Cure Salée festival with the Gerewol ceremonies this year takes place on 25th of September (Thanks to DUNES-VOYAGES). Anyone planning to go there, or to other difficult-to-reach places in Niger? maybe we could share a vehicle. Bo!
Hi! It will be nice to hear about your experiences esp. if you plan to hire a car...! I would like to find a group of 5-6 serious people myself to explore Niger early next year going from Niamey to Agadiz, Diffa, Maradi in +/- four weeks.

Hi Hamza, Actually you're 2 years late to reply :) I went there in 2003 and afterwards I have to say that the main festival is actually relatively easy to reach on public transport, so you might consider that to cut down cost. Hav a great time!
