Hi I need to spend a week in Nicosia this summer but would also like to spend some time at a nice beach. Are there any in or around Nicosia or could you tell me where the nearest beach to Nicosia is please?
Hi.. Well Cyprus is not too big so u dont have to worry about the distances.. The nearest beach is to Larnaca that is 30min by car.Then is Ayia Napa/Protaras 45min from Nicosia,Limassol 50min and Paphos 1 and a half hour... Also u can go to swimming pools in nicosia... I leave in Nicosia so whatever u want to ask or learn I will be glad to help u.. Regards Tony

Hi Tony is bang on... We were in Nicosia and Larnaca last summer but did not visit the other beaches he mentions, although the locals greatly recommended the places that he lists. Have a good trip. Romano
