Hiya, I will be stopping over in Nice on my way back to London from Corsica. Flights gets in at 11:00am, and then don't fly out till 9:50, so will have about 7 hours to kill. I wanted to get out and have a look around. Is this possible, and what would you recommend I see! Thanks!
Yes definitely stroll around Nice during your stopover. You can take a bus/shuttle into Nice - the one I took brings you to the main train station in Nice. Then you probably want to stroll around Vieux Nice (Old Nice) maybe get something to eat around Cours Saleya market/flower stalls - I think its only on Tuesday thru Saturday. Then you can go up the hill to Parc du Chateau to get a good overview the city and harbor of Nice. Then walk along the Promenade de Anglais to see the beaches and hotel Negresco before you head on back to the airport. patrick
