My fiance and I are spending our honeymoon on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls during Victoria Day (May 24, 2005). We have a honeymoon package through Embassy Suites. Neither of us have been to Niagara Falls and would like to find out what are the best sights and attractions that we can pack into our schedule in three short days... Any advice would be great. We will have our own vehicle so transportation isn't an issue.
Go on a wine tour!

Just stand for hours listening to and watching the Falls...thats the real beauty of Niagara....they are amazing! Walk along the prom during the day and night when they are illuminated. Take the journey under the falls and get some fabulous piccies by the crashing waters. Go up the Skylon Tower for spectacular views across the Falls, River and town. The IMAX theatre and museum is cool too! Here you will learn tons of history from Niagara. If you have the time, travel the couple of hours to Toronto....another amazing place...! Hope this helps! Ali xx

For20 you can do the maid of the mist and the journey behind the falls (walk through to behind the falls). Go across the border into the States if you love to shop. The outlet stores there are great! Definately go up to Niagara on th lake for the wineries! 5 days is a lot in Niagara...go up to Toronto for a day too.

See my albums for drives around niagara falls area. Also when you are there, try and pop into the botanical garden, the butterfly conservatory, checkout the radial clock, all the big houses that line the road to niagara on the lake. Make sure you do the winery tour thing, but just get a map and do it yourself, not as a group, they are easy to find. Have a good one mate !

All of the above is good advice, but don't forget Goat Island and Three Sisters Islands on the American side.

If you are on your honeymoon, don't miss Niagara on the lake. It is a real nice quaint town, wonderful to stroll through. After that, take the drive along the picturesque Niagara Parkway, stopping at some wineries and for a picnic.
