Nha Trang to Mui Ne

i, whats the easiest way to get from Nha Trang to Mui Ne? We are getting the train down from Hanoi and will probably stay in Nha Trang for a night or two before geading to Mui Ne. I'm guessing hiring a car will be the easiest, is this true, or is there an easier way? Is this easy to do? About how much will it cost? Our guide book is sketchy on the issue thanks for all the help
