I'm movingto newport beach, i'm 23 and going to be living with 2 friends- where should we look to live - the peninsula? corona del mar??
Have you already moved? Interested in where you ended up as I have a home in Newport Bch and am looking to rent. Best Regards, Mary

Corona del Mar is a lot pricier than the peninsula. You should also look in West Newport, over near the Frog House surf shop -- there are lots of rentals on that side of PCH and they are cheaper than the ones right on the beach. If you don't want to pay the rents to live right at the beach, try Costa Mesa - it's only a couple of miles to the beach and the rents would be a bit more reasonable. Good luck!

hey you're 23, so you'll probably want to be close to the nightlife. newport is where a lot of the bars are. locals go bar hopping on fri and sat nights. get drunk and stagger or take a cab home. happy hunting.
