Hi, I'm looking to book a hotel for a friends stag party in Newcastle. I'd appreciate if someone could recommend a hotel that is located in the heart of the action in the city centre & that has a residence bar that stays open late!! Not alot to ask for!!! Thanks in advance, Peter

Hi Peter Try the Royal Staion Hotel, surprisingly next to the Railway Station, www.royalstationhotel.com This is run by the Cairn Group who have 2 other hotels in Jesmond which is a really lively suburb of Newcastle and within walking distance of the city centre approx 15 mins but maybe £5 taxi. www.cairnhotelgroup.com
