      B&B in Londonderry

      Derry/Londonderry 8 hours ago

Any suggestion for a decent hotel or B&B in Central Londonderry around June 24th or 25th? It should be for two persons (my wife and myself) and should have a private bathroom. Help me out please. Thank you,

How to make the most of my private tour, Antrim

Northern Ireland Mar 27, 2014 at 1:39 PM

I am staying at the Valley View B&B, Bushmills, and they are offering a day tour of pretty much anything I want to see in a day for my photography assignment. I have selected to concentrate my efforts on Dunluce Castle (I want to visit it too), the Dark Hedges, Giant's Causeway, Hezlett House/Mussenden Temple. I just found out that the Giant's Causeway stretches for about 4 miles! I can't be sure my driver will have the patience for waiting while I scramble amongst the rocks, so can someone who has had some success with shooting this area tell me how best to photograph it (i.e. which vantage points are best to shoot from, time of day, etc etc). How much time is good for Dunluce Castle? Is the Dark Hedges best photographed morning, midday, or dusk? I deleted the Bushmills Distillery off my itinerary since I don't drink and I'm not sure how successful a photograph of this place would be. However, I am looking for a decent place to have lunch (maybe with a view?) so some tips would be handy. Are there any other castles in ruins nearby?

      Murlough Nature reserve

by kevarms Online Now Mar 3, 2011 at 1:38 PM

      Hi all,
Looking to spend a couple hours looking around the Murlough Nature Reserve. Have been looking up info on the web but I'm having a hard job working out the best place to park. Also (may be a daft question) would a car with Republic plates be safe? I do a bit of driving around Newry area and had no problems in Belfast and other places in the north, but the people I'm going with are a bit wary.
One more thing: recommendation for lunch/tea would be greatly appreciated :)
      Thanks in advance,

      Newcastle Brown Ale

by Milkfish Online Now Mar 6, 2006 at 12:15 PM

      Hi all,
I've not long moved to the area {Newcastle} and have several groups of mates visiting during the forthcoming months. What I really need to know is, do they do tours of the Newcastle Brown Ale Brewery? I'm sure this would be a great place to take a bunch of lads to get them started for the weekend and even though i've scoured the net for info i've had no luck as yet. Look forward to hearing from anyone on the above question.
