The cheapest and easiest way to go to Morpeth is: Go to the web site:www.nationalrail.co.uk in there you can book a ticket that will cost you 2.80 pounds and it will take around 20 minutes. Hope that helps. Have a good journey, regards, Lorena

I think maybe the above answer is in regards to the UK. In New South Wales, Ausralia, Morpeth is a 30 minute drive from Newcastle or a 1.5 hour bus trip. You can go to www.cityrail.com.au and click on the trip planner to see what number bus you should catch. I think you have to change buses mid journey.

If you're in town when I'm home and not travelling in the motorhome, Rosemarie and I could run you up. I don't know if you're in to cycling but that's another alternative. I race and have a spare bike in the garage if you want a loan of that. Other than that the train/bus is the only way. Cheers.
