Hi, I am arriving in Newcastle by train (Broadmeadow) and have several hours to get to the airport. I would like some suggestions on the best way to get from one to the other (probably with a wander around somewhere to grab some lunch) without resorting to a taxi. I have absolutley no idea about Newcastle geography.
Newcastle, then to airport? Which one? Williamtown or Pelican? Suggest you walk out to the end of Nobbys, return and get something to eat at or near the Brewery on the harbour then catch a Port Stephens bus (probably be a Blue Ribbon) to Williamtown. It begs the question, why aren't you flying out of Sydney. If you let me know what day I may be able to drive you to the airport, depending on where I'm working. Cheers, Ian
