We are travelling from Wellington upto Aukland via Paraparaumu-Napier-Taupo-Gisbon -rotoura what is the best route we also hope to visit north of Aukland & want to know what we should visit as we will have just over 7days on the north island before flying home from Aukland. Thanks

we did the other way round from Auckland to Wellington, but going in reverse u could do the following route in 7 days: Wellington to Napier, Napier to Gisborne, Gisborne to Rotorua, Rotorua to Tuaranga, Tauranga to Rotorua, Rotorua to Whitianga, Whitianga to Auckland
