I guess I worded my earlier question poorly, making it sound like I was complaining about a change in a website. There no longer appears to be scheduled coach service between JFK or LaGuardia Airport and Grand Central Terminal. Is this true, or am I reading the Port Authority web pages incorrectly?
The JFK website has this one: http://www.nycairporter.com/ from both airports to Grand Central. Does that count? I want to know because I'll be flying into JFK in the summer (all being well).

OK, I must have missed that one. I can't find it on the JFK site under "ground transportation," but I can see it under "Connecting to other airports." The website itself does indeed indicate half-hourly coach service between JFK and Grand Central. Thanks for the link!

I found it on the JFK site under 'public transportation': panynj.gov/airports/jfk-publ... I might use it, I might not: depends on what time of day I end up arriving. :-)

Strange... The Airporter is a private bus run by Veolia, not public transportation. Anyway, it's good there's still regular coach service from the airports.

having recently came back from NYC there are a couple of ground coach transfers at JFK. U don't have to book in advance. U can buy tickets at the arrival hall. I think its bout12. Make sure you board the right bus. I boarded a bus but its going to downtown when I needed to go to La Guardia. Fortunately the bus has not moved yet. I stumbled upon this website travellingkits.com which mentioned NYC Airporter for JFK shuttle.I can't recall if I used this one or another. The bus looks different. This website also mentioned NYC site-seeing bus? Maybe they have shuttle too. This site is full of ads but nevertheless have some good infos.
