Carnegie Hall in June

We will be in NYC from June 30 to July 2. I see on the Carnegie Hall website that there are no performances booked during that time, but can one visit the Hall and tour inside it? My mom dearly wants to visit this place, and I had to disappoint her by telling her there were no scheduled performances during our visit to the Big Apple, but she still wanted to go see it. Any help?

Those are only available during the concert season. So, since it is no longer the season, I guess we can't visit?

and there is a lot of construction going on around the bldg..so not much to look at.
