Hi all, I'm travelling with a group of adults (5 in total) and was wondering if anyone knew of accommodation that could accommodate all of us. Not fussed if it's an apartment or a couple of hotel rooms. Want to stay in the city, not in Queens or Brooklyn. Any suggestions? Looking around 80-100 per night per person. Thanks
the embassie suite can accomedation and has ajoining rooms if needed and a club floor for families. Could be Residence inn I have to look it up again, but the rates are reasonable for a family of five in Times Square

It was the Residence Inn by Marriott in Times Square. Several VT ers have stayed there and it is in their travel pages under tips for more information.

we recently stayed at Ameritania Hotel at 54th Street. Google it. Times Square n Broadway Theaters just round the corner. 3 of us shared a room for around ~$240 per room per night. We got two double beds. Decent room. Certainly within your budget.

Hi - Just a warning - it is illegal to rent an apartment in NYC for less than 30 days. If you choose to do so (they ARE advertised) you run the risk of losing our money/being thrown out by building management.

Try Bevy's Bed & Breakfast (Address: 70 Mercer St., New York, NY 10012; Telephone: 1 212 431-8214); it is in SoHo. It is a quirky pad, run a Bevy, a quirky but sweet woman.

Bevy's Bed and Breakfast is likely operating as an illegal hotel. The city is closing them down faster than you can say "Department of Buildings". For legitimate lodging for a large group, check any of the Affinia properties in Manhattan; a budget choice would be RCA apart-hotel, and there's always the Beacon on the UWS. They have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite that might work for you and it has a kitchen.

We are staying at the La Quinta Inn 47-18 Queens Boulavarde Long Island, rooms look good and the price is good. The train is just across 10 minutes back to Times Square I am told.
