Hi, I am not driving. So wonder how can I travel from Boston to Merrimack? I want to visit the Merrimack outlet and best to stay 1-2 nights as well to visit the place. Any local bus or transport to the outlet?
I'll be traveling to New Hampshire at the end of May for 2 nights with my cousin. We are females in our late 20's and would like to be central in vibrant area. We're trying to figure out which city has the most sightseeing and eateries in a walkable area with cheaper lodging options. Also, somewhere with decent public transportation so we can easily get to an airport at the end of our stay and possibly visit other nearby cities. Any suggestions??
Hi, I would like to visit Mount Washington for a challenging climb but am somewhat put off by the uncertainties read about weather conditions. But before i go that far, i would like to know if there are backpacker accommodations (there doesn't seem to be but thats why i ask you) and cheapest way to get there and stay there for a night from NY. Thanks for your help, Josh

I am going to a wedding in Jackson in September. Have been advised to stay at Whitney's Inn, but this is fully booked as is the Inn at Jackson. Can anyone recommend somewhere nearby to stay? I'm on a tight budget (Whitney's was too expensive really) and won't have a car so will need to be able to walk to Whitney's to meet friends. Thanks
We are staying in Dover tonight. I thought we'd stop in Portsmouth for a history visit. I found the Strawberry Banke site but it doesn't open until May. Is it possible to walk around and check things out without the museum? Is there a guide or signs directing you like the freedom trail in Boston? Please advise us:)Any other help on what to do (historical)would be much appreciated!
My wife & I are flying into Manchester, NH for a fall driving tour in October. What is the best time to come to see the colors? Also, we want to travel to Vermont. What are the "must sees" in the area? Any recommendations on Bed and Breakfast inns? Thanks.
I would like to know what the most scenic route would be driving from Woodstock VT to Mt. Washington NH. Plan to site see, visit Mt. Washington and spend the night close by in one day. Also should we drive up the mountain or take the cog railway? And spend the night in Gorham NH or Bethel ME? Modest accommodations, good value.
I will be staying at the Mount Washington Hotel the first week in December. Hopefully the weather will be good and we can do some small hikes. Can anyone suggest hikes in the area that may have waterfalls or something of interest? How about some other outdoor activities in the area...we are not skiers though. How about some other restaurants in the area? Thank you.
Folks, After spending a wonderful New Years Eve last winter at a B & B in Woodstock, VT (Lincoln Inn at Covered Bridge) which serves an optional great dinner, we are looking to repeat that experience this year. Any recommendations for a moderately priced B &B or INN with a great dinner available? Thanks in advance. Spedprof
HOW CAN I GET FROM NASHUA TO PLYMOUTH BY BUS? THANK YOU VERY MUCH, KRIS CONNOR
My husband and I are planning a 4 night 3 day stay at New Hampshire. We would like to do some moderate hiking in the White Mountains area, but would like to find some good lakes/waterfalls to swim. Any recommendations on rustic cabins (cheap/scenic, preferably!) to stay in and good hiking spots would be greatly appreciated.
We are leaving for a last-minute, first-time trip to New Hampshire and Vermont next week. We'll fly into Manchester and have 5 days and 4 nights. We'd like to see as much as possible and hope to make a circuitous drive, up toward the northern border. We're interested in seeing the highlights of landscape, classic New England towns, moose, and the mountains, and plan to stay in a different town each night. Any recommendations would be appreciated, and for Mar. 29--Apr. 2, am I right to assume we'll need 4-wheel drive?
How does the crime rate, muggings etc compare with other states.
We are planning a trip to New Hampshire next summer. The Franconia Ridge Trail looks stunning....I've heard that it's really steep to get up and down. How dangerous is it....do you have to climb large sheets of rock that are thousands of feet in the air and fatal? or is it just steep, but not extremely dangerous? I would love to hike this trail, but will pick an easier one if this one is too dangerous. It seems like if lots of people hike it, then it's probably ok.
Hi all, My friends and I are planning to go to White Mountains next weekend to see the foliage, but I remember reading somewhere that there is a specific time that I can see the foliage (like late October or something), but I don't know when. Thanks a lot and best regards, Hazel
Looking for a restaurant with a fireplace, nice music, and flowers on the table! Could be 40 miles or so from Keene.
Folks, Looking for some recommendations for 2 Mid aged couples spending a few days, including New Years Eve, 2010 in Vermont at a B&B. Priority is on good food with nice accommodations. Recommendations, appreciated... Spedprof

Can anyone give me an idea of the weather late October around the White Mountain area (North Conway). Always travelled there at Easter, but never October. Thanks
We are visiting the Mt Washington area of the White Mtns for a couple of nights camping at the end of June as part of a tour of New England and would like to do a really good hike in the area. We are very fit, experienced walkers with a lot of mountaineering experience. We want to do an interesting, decent length walk of anything from 10 - 20 miles (day hike) and preferably gain some height (a summit). Can anyone recommend a really good hike? Also be interested in any recommendations for nice quite, scenic campsite (pref rustic to over developed or commercialised sites). Many thanks, Sam from England
We want to travel to the region of New Hampshire an portmouth by mini motorhome or van conversion: just basic equipment for 2 people. Can anybody help us with that?Thank you so much sorry for my English i'm flemisch...
Can anybody tell me how can I get from Portsmouth, NH to Ogunquit, ME? From what I've found on net, and that is nothing, I think my only option is taxi. If that is so, how much would it cost? I can see it's some 20 miles ride..
Been awhile since I've been up there. Is the go kart place still open? Mini golf? Any ideas of prices or other things to do while up there. Any nice local hotel/motels besides the super 8 (all I find online) that is reasonable. Relatives in Tilton but don't mind staying in Franklin. thanks
Can you tell me how to locate the Student Center on the UNH campus? Thanks much.
Hi there! I'm going camping with my niece and nephew (10 and 15 years old) in Hampton Beach this summer. Any family activities (rides, slides, mini-golf, etc.) you could recommend in that area? We don't mind driving around a bit. Thanks! Isa
Hi We are planning a road trip starting Toronto to Ottawa to Montreal to Boston to Niagra Falls then flight back to England. 21 days in all. Hi all. I am planning to go there Dec 21 and 22, anyone know how much and where to tube? Do I need to reserve ahead? Thanks!
Hi, I will be booking for a motel/cabin/hotel for Dec 21 and 22. I am not too much into old clunky cabins country decorated type, but I don't mind a clean, non-smoking lodging that I can look outside. I am stuck between three hotel/motels.. In no particular order: 1) The Patio Motor Court 2) Above the Notch 3) Profile Deluxe Motel http://www.profiledeluxe.com/ 4) Shakespeare Inn I stayed at Above the Notch 10 years ago and it was good but I heard the owners changed and it's right on route 3 (noisy a little). Which of these actually has the view of twin mountains? Thanks!
