It is at the eastern edge of Nerja, off the N340 and getting close to the village of Maro and the Nerja Caves. I think there used to be a short cut for pedestrians to Burriana Beach and from there it is quite a good walk along the beach, boardwalk and some rocky stretches ( with steps and handrail-ropes) all the way in to the centre of Nerja. It is a settled community with a mix of villas and apartments. I have stayed within walking distance of it on several occasions and the only negative thing I felt was that some of the properties are in a mini valley and never seemed to get much sun. When it is hot some shade would perhaps be welcome - we mostly visited in the winter months!
