Hello, Mid June, Beginning of Monsoon in Nepal. To Visit Kathmandu Valley Not That much Problem. Pokhara is the highest Raining Place in Nepal. Nagarkot Is Best Hill Station for Sunrise/Sunset with Trans Himalayan Range North East 40km form Kathmandu. Its Depend I cant write you how many times rain in a day its all depend your Karma. The Temperature is time will be 28 to 32. In Nepal We have always Always Political Problem but That Not Effect for tourist, till now any Party dosent announce Strike in This Time. There are Many Tourist Standard Hotels/Guest Houses in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Nagarkot as well. Try Kathmandu Peace Guest House (Kathmandu) Snow Hill Lodge (Pokhara) View Point Hotel (Nagarkot)or Check internet. In Kathmandu and Pokhara there are Many Travel/Trek Agency in left and Right site in Street you can ask them easy upon Arrival. They will manage all things with Guide . Greenline Bus they serve only to Pokhara Not Nagarkot. I suggest to you better Private Transport. If you more detail you can send me PM as well i will send you detail. Hope its help a bit Namaste!!

No Problem – Although you already have some good answers 1) You will get quite a bit of rain, it might well rain most days you are there, but not all the time, it might be dryer in the mornings, but don’t quote me on that ;-) – It will also be quite hot and sticky 2) Difficult to say, Strong chance of strikes but even if these occur you should still be able to fly – Safety shouldn’t be an issue, I was there at the height of the troubles and never once fealty threatened and things have calmed down a lot since then 3) For a recommendation of a hotel you might like to try The Hotel Nepalaya in Kathmandu, this is on the edge of Thamel and is set well back from the main street so well away from both traffic and bar/restaurant noise. It's a bit more upmarket than the average backpacker haunt, Nice Large well furnished rooms with private bathrooms, 24 hour Hot water (Reliable) Comfortable beds, satellite TV, Osculating fans or AC for an extra charge. Nice roof terrace too. You can also check out their reviews on Trip Advisor; I stayed here again on my 2012 trip and was completely satisfied, - My preferred agent can get a good discount on web-prices, so if you are interested send me a PM and I will forward you his contact details. For a recommendation of a Great little hotel in Pokhara, The Hotel Lake Diamond, Small family run hotels just a few hundred meters away fro the centre of Lakeside – But down a side street so in a beautiful and Quiet location - I have used this hotel for several years and always get a great welcome More details of both these hotels plus several more and reviewed in my Nepal accommodation Tips in the link in my signature if you want to take a look ;-) Lots to see and do in and around Kathmandu a) Buddha Air Mountain Flight b Bodnath c Visit Kopan Monastery d Pashupatinath e Swayambhunath f) Full day in Bhaktapur g Durbar Square Kathmandu and Patan h Day trip to Nagarkot and overnight – With luck spectacular sunrise On the way south Take the cable-car to Manakamana Temple If you go to Pokhara a Paragliding b Micro-Light flight c Devi Falls and Gupteshwor Mahadev cave d Walk to the Peace Pagoda and then return to lakeside by boat over Fewa Tal e Visit The Tibetan Refugee camp f Sunrise at Sarangkot Take a look at my Nepal Things to do and See tips for further detsails 6) Please see my travelogue entitled A Very Important Decision Good Luck and Happy Travels Rob
