Yes, if you are going to Pokhara the above mentioned trek would be fine, but if you are thinking of trekking in the Kathmandu area perhaps you should consider Helambu or Langtang \trek

First of all, welcome to VT – You have discovered a great travel forum to get good info to help plan your coming trip.
Unfortunately you haven’t said when you are going to Nepal, so giving you accurate advice on which trek to take isn’t easy as some treks are better than others depending on the season
However, I think you have two main choices, One of the derivatives of The Poon Hill Trek as suggested above – This is a great little trek and widely thought of as the best introductory trek in Nepal or The Shortened Helambu Circuit which is a little less known and has the advantage of starting close to Kathmandu, so can be a better choice for those on a limited timescale "The Shortened Helambu Circuit" - Nepal Off The Beaten Path Tip by into-thin-air

Hello, Lost of Post already posted over specially our rob wrote great tips for you. Beside that, If you haven't much more hiking experience then better just Kathmandu Valley rim part of Helambu Cultural Trek will be also nice option for you. In this trek, you will not going that much Highest summit only till 2600m. Sleeping 2200m then walking ridge of the hills of Kathmandu Valley. The trek covered Kathmandu - chisapani - Jhule - Nagarkot - Dhulikhel Panauti will be nice option. Great Himalayan views, Landscapes, Beautiful Sunset -Sunrise View and Cultural sites will be my suggestion for you..
Hope it helps a bit for your happy trips to Nepal Bashu
