A group of us (resident community friends aged 30 - 60) from Kuala Lumpur will be making a trip to Gemas in early November 2011 for a weekend meeting. We were thinking of diverting to Malacca b4 making our way to Gemas since our meeting there is only at 6pm. However, I am considering whether we should stop by Tampin instead of Malacca as we have never been to both Tampin & Gemas. Would like to know what are the attractions (sight see / food) in Tampin. I cannot find any recent updates on Tampin. Would appreciate any info. Thanks.

I need yr suggestion regarding the cheapest hotel but has good amenity in Port Dickson...around teluk kemang...i don't mind about nice views...facing seashores or what...b'coz i'm student and hv trip for 2 days 1 night only...so i'll quite bz i'm just looking for a room with 2 double beds and private toilet/bath....and of course has some furniture like air-cond,wardrobe,TV and electric cable simple but good enough for relaxing.. in addition,i'm Muslim...hope they providing surau and halal restaurant nearby. Pls help me...need it ASAP...wanna plan b4 20th jan!

Hi, I'll be going to seremban via rail from Singapore. I'll reach seremban around 7pm on 22nd december. My family(husband, mother-in-law and 8month old daughter) and I will be checking in at Legend Water Chalet (Port Dickson) the next day 23 december at 3pm. As I'm pretty clueless about Seremban, I was wondering if anyone could suggest a suitable iteniary that we can do during the short time we are there. I wound also like to ask a few other questions: 1. Is the railway station located at seremban town itself? 2. Are there any hotels tha I can book for the night before we check in Legend the next day? 3. What are the recommended tourist attractions that we can visit during that short period of time? (we would love to visit historical sites such as Sri Menanti) 4. Is there any buses that will take us to Legend water chalet from Terminal One? Or is it more worth to take a cab? I must say that I'm really ignorant. Please can someone enlighten me...

We were looking for some luxury, but it is difficult to find a room that has a seperate bedroom? I really dont want to share with my kids (a bed that is) my little one snores haha. i want to go to kuala pilah in the fast and cheap and convenience. .i've come to tampin from seremban,hence i've choose the KTM train from bandaraya(bcoz i stay at sentul).the journey cost about rm22.20 (2way).duration 2hrs20min . my next destination is kuala pilah, so, if i choose to take a bus from puduraya to seremban? it is more cheaper?. then take the domestic bas @ seremban to kuala pilah?.. regard nate
