Hi Am thinking of making a trip along the jungle railway from Wakaf Bharu to Kuala Lipis. I understand that the trains sets off early at 0715hrs everyday. Does anyway know if there is affordable accommodation near the Wakaf Bharu station which I can stay for the night to take the train early in the morning? Many thanks! Rgds.

Or there is Kota Ville GH , 384 Taman Kotaville Indah, Wakaf Bharu It is a long time since i have been to Kota Baru but there used to be many cheap hostels near the market, and no problem finding an early bus towards Sungai Golok or train station in the morning, 2 RM perhaps.
