Will be staying in Nayarit,Mx. and was wondering just how far is Puerto Vallarta from there? Also what is some of the best places to visit while there? Thank you.

Nayarit is a few minutes away from PVR airport going north...Remember Puerto Vallarta is Puerto Vallarta in jalisto state and Nuevo Vallarta is in Nayarit.Both have different concepts and infrastructure.the old town of Vallñarta is very nice and teh hotel zone is reachable by bus .In Nuevo Vallarta you will find luxury resorts that are isolated from everything.

We will be staying at the Riu Pacifico. Just wanted to know if taking a taxi to the malacon how far? Have never been to Puerto Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta and am looking for some cool places to shop at and eat. Thanks for all your help.

I believe that the resort we are at is on the Flamingos Beach. I cant seem to find a very good map of the area where resorts and locations are. Even a good road map would be nice. I'm sure I'll just have to hunt a little more to find one to my liking. Thanks.
