1- yes it is crowded in july
2-they are nice beaches and safe to swim i think that they are not sheltered from the wind as there is windsurfing along the way.
3-yes it is easy there are regular buses but they stop at some point late at night.
4-yes it is easy to bike it to theses places i have even walked it it dont take long maybe an hour i think
5-there is some nightlife but not like mega loud or busy.

    1. Very crowded by the end of July for sure.
    2. Ag. Prokopios and Ag. Anna are now joined, an expanding collection of Small hotels/rooms for rent/tavernas. The beach of coarse sand is more or less continuous south from Ag Prokopios. They are sheltered from the meltemi wind wavewise but the land behind is flat so you still get sand blasted.
    3. The bus service is every 30 min from 08:00-24:00 to Naxos Chora (June).
    4. You can walk ~ 3km, bicycle OK it's more or less flat.
    5. There used to be a nightclub (nr the quay in Ag. Anna but it appeared to be bombed out in 2003). Otherwise all the music bars, nightlife etc is in the Chora. I would guess that Ag. Prokopios is a quiet area but I always stay in the Chora so can't be sure.
