Hi to all, we plan to go to Narvik,originating in Abisko,Sweden in spring 2013,most probably in late Feb./March:) Can anyone help how to connect with the Hurtigruten ships from there? We like to cruise finally to Bodo,with the Hurtigruten ships,where we continue to travel further on to Oslo,with the plane;) We do appreciate your help,thanks!! Happy journeys to all, Gt62;))
Hi and welcome to VT. I suggest you get yourselves on a bus from Narvik to Harstad, and start your Hurtigruten-cruise from there. The leg through the archipelagos Vesterålen and Lofoten is very beautiful. Have a nice trip!

Another possibility would be to take a bus from Narvik to Svolvær in the Lofoten Islands and pick up the Hurtigruten there. Take a look at http://www.hurtigruten.com/norway/ for details. BTW, you might want to double-check to make sure that the Abisko Tourist Station is open at the time you want to visit, as they sometimes close in February and March. Email info@abisko.nu for information on that. Enjoy your trip!
