Hi, just wondering by looking at the following how many days should I spend here? Also, could anyone help me out on finding some cheap hostel accommadation? Todaiji Temple Isuien Garden Kasuga Taisha
You can cover main attractions of Nara in 1 day, but if you would like to see everything then 2 days would be enough I think. We stayed in Kyoto and visited Nara on a daily trip so I can't suggest any accomodation over there. You can check my Nara page for some tips.

Hi, Nara is a really good place to visit. Kyoto is near Nara as well. I have been to both and loved them. I stayed in Kyoto for one week. If you have a JR pass you can travel to Nara or Kyoto or Kobe. These three places are great. The only time I used a hostle was when I was in Tokyo. I do not know of there is one in Nara or Kyoto.
