Hi, is there any available transportation from Nara to Himeji or vice versa?. Thanks
JR train from Nara to Kyoto JR station, then take shikansen to Himeji, simple...all in all maybe 2 hours or more,,since Kyoto to Heimiji will just take u less than an hour through hikari shikansen.Nara to KYOTO IS 45 minutes as far as my memory is still correct.

Take JR train to Kyoto and then take an express train from there to Himeji. Or you might take Kintetsu line to Namba (Osaka) , Midosuji subway to Umeda (Osaka) station and then JR Osaka station express train to Himeji. Also if cost is not an issue you could go to Kyoto and then take Shinkansen (bullet train) to Himeji.
