Naples Half Marathon 2010

I am looking for someone who knows something about the Naples half marathon. I see on the web site it is scheduled for April 18, 2010. Both of the 2 comments there are very negative. We will be in Florence and thought we might go down and run the half. What about hotels close to the start or finish?
