Watching the football game on the Sao Paolo stadium

Hello! My bf has such a big wish to watch domestic football club "Napoli" in the stadium Sao Paolo in the spring next year,but I am almost collecting some informations about Napoli as a city(knowing it's dangerous as well). Anyways,could anyone tell me is it ok(safe) for 2 of us to watch the game in live? How war is the stadium from the center of the city?
