Te Mata Peak... where do I start from if i'm going to bike up it?... Like where do we leave our car? Where does the trail up start for mountainbikers pls?

You find info here on this page: hawkesbaymtb.co.nz/default.a... There is a carpark at the main gates and another one at Tauroa Road. All just outside Havelock North. Best you check out on www.googlemaps.com - and you see Tauroa Road, next to Tainui Reserve.

from Havelock North Village, take Te Mata Road to SIMLA Road, then right turn up the hill into the Te Mata Peak Road. Through the gates into the Te Mata peak trust parkk. It's a challenging climb. good to be clean and sober on this road. No guard rails! good luck!
