It would even be good if you let us know for which world cup you are coming.

The football world cup in South Africa this year, and you want to watch all the games on TV in Napier.

Or the rugby world cup in 2011 in New Zealand, and you want to watch Canada's games in Napier?

Best you contact the hostels in Napier, or make the Visitor Information Centre do the job for you (costs NZ$ 10 for peak times):

    isitehawkesbay.co.nz/accommo...

    secure.xplore.net/visitorinf...

well I've seen that hostils are around20-25 per day but many don't book in advance. So If I could find a house rental or 2 hotel rooms that would be150-$200/night we would be pretty happy.
    Thanks

I would really try the i-site as this is the official visitor information site and trustworthy. I have spoken to them in another place lately where they will host the rowing world championships this year, and they have special staff who do all the bookings for that.
