Firstly can any one please tell me how to get from the airport to hawkes bay area?car,taxi,hire car ??????? We are coming from the uk to lookk at the area any recommendations on where to stay please?
Is that HawkesBay in Karachi? Well .. I guess u guys have to first go to a hotel and check yourself in .. get comfertable and then from the hotel itself .. you can hire a car/taxi and go to Hawkesbay and check it out all u want .. I dont suppose its viable to go to Hawkesbay stright from the airport, baggage and all, but if u are a daredevil kind .. ofcourse u can ask your taxi to straightaway take u to Hawkesbay! :) (I wont recommend it tho!)

Don't know what you mean with "Hawkes bay area" ?? I would recommmend staying in Napier, art deco capital of the world. Napier airport is approximately 10 - 15 minutes drive from the centre of Napier. Cost of taxi to city centre approximately15.00 Perhaps an useful website for more information: http://www.hawkesbaynz.com Or otherwise take a look on the VT pages and travelguides about Hawkes Bay. happy travels jaap

I've been To Napier and its definately worth going there. I stayed at Napier Prison Backpackers and it is still like a prison you can stay in the old cells, its pretty cool. If you find a hostel to stay in then just ring them and they might pick you up from the airport
