i'm not staying in the wine country this trip but passing through. I'm looking for the perfect lunch . Any suggestion??? A few that have been suggested were ....... Brix, zuzu, wappo, rutherford grille, celadon . An ideal place would have good food ( light but usual meal),deserts and good scenery . Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!
Cindy's Backstreet Grill in St. Helena, but does not have the view of the vines like Brix. Another idea is to pick up some picnic type items at any one of the wineries, and then picnic at say St. Clement.

V Sattui in St. Helena also has a great place to picnic, a great gourmet deli, or you can get BBQ, plus some pretty tasty wines. You can also pick up some great gourmet take away at Dean & Deluca in St. Helena. We enjoyed Bouchon for dinner, dont know about their lunch (Bouchon tel. +1 707.944.8037 6534 Washington St. Yountville, CA 94599) Mustards in yountville was excellent, another pretty place to picnic is Rombauers Winery.
