Hi, I live in Southern CA and will be traveling to Nantucket in early September, 2011. I have figured out it's an island (duh!) and that I'll need to get there from Boston. I understand I can fly there or take a high speed ferry. Could someone tell me how I get to the ferry (and which one) from the airport? It is all a mystery to me! And, is Martha's Vineyard on Nantucket, or v.v. and how does this all relate to Cape Cod? Hyannis? Thanks for ANY help you can give me!
We are planning to make a day trip to Nantucket. We'll be taking a ferry from Harwich. There will be 5 adults and one 10-year old. Are there any shops/restaurants or anything to do walking distance from the dock? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks - M
I am going to visit Nantucket Island in a week and stay there for about 3 months. I want to talk to the people knowing about this place or living there. So, I would be so happy if I can learn about Nantucket. I could guess from the pictures it is an amazing place but I need more. so, İf you could help me please contact me from here..
I recently visited Cape Cod and Nantucket, on a bicycling trip sponsored by Elderhostel. The trip was excellent in every respect, including virtually perfect weather. While in Cape Cod, we stayed in Brewster at the Ocean View Resort, which we especially enjoyed. During the trip, I shot many photos, which I intend to share with my traveling companions. However, in a number of cases, I can't recall exactly what it was that I was photographing. My photos are posted on the Internet, and can be viewed as a "slideshow" at the following web address: community.webshots.com/album... Each individual image has an image number, plus a caption that appears with each image in the slide show view. I would appreciate your looking at the photo caption and emailing back captions for those images that are not identified, as well as any suggestions you might have for improved captions. Thanks in advance.
I'm looking for some VT personal experiences on the Island. Primarily, what are the best hotels on the Island? Also, what is a good length of stay? We were thinking about staying 6 nights but we're nervous that we might get bored after a while. Any info would be appreciated!
