    • Art exhibitions in Shanghai

      Shanghai Dec 11, 2014 at 4:49 AM

Hello guys, I arrived in Shanghai some weeks ago and will stay here for a couple of months to do a student exchange. Anyway, I recently walked through the Bund and passed by a hotel/art exhibition at the 'Swatch Art Peace Hotel'. They currently have a very nice exhibition, I guess it's called 'Faces & Traces'. My place is very near to the campus of the Fudan university. Do you know by chance any similar interesting museums or art exhibition in that area?

      Cheers,

Will I be ok if I am at the border 30 minutes early or will I have to wait around until midnight? If anyone has any experience of this I would be grateful.

by atenga Online Now Sep 18, 2005 at 11:11 AM

We are 2 families travelling Oslo-Shanghai-Hangzhou-Beijing-Nanning. The children are 9 years old. We would like to end the trip in Halong Bay/Cat Ba and go home from Hanoi. The hard part is to cross the border to Vietnam. With 2 children it should not be too straining. At the same time the adults would really like to see this part of Guangxi and the border part by Pingxiang. - Is it true there are trains only twice a week? Morning trains preferable to see the landscape- when in the morning? Train goes through border? When does it arrive Hanoi? Would be greatful for answers! And sorry to Ritchie Lionheart for being so ignorant that I didn't check how far - 300 km and not 60... Thanks in advance!

Is travel worse from Nanning to border, or after border to Hanoi? Taxi to border, bus from there? Riciculous with plane such short distance, but anyone who has tried?
