Has anyone been to a restuarant in Nairobi called 'Carniovre'. It's famous for serving game meat but I've heard reports that its recently closed - can anyone confirm whether this is true or not. If it is, are there any other good game restaurants in the city? Thanks
I was there several years ago, and do not know if it has been closed. It was really crowded the night we went, and the atmosphere was great, but it was so dark in there, with lighting from wall sconces only, that you really could not see what you were eating! They told us we were eating zebra, eland, emu, well...you name it, we ate it! I do not know of other game restaurants but there must be some.
