Nairobi Travel Answers

We will be travelling to Nairobi between Christmas and New years, and are looking for reasonably priced accomodtion for a few nights. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Yukon dave

    what is your budget? There are a few guesthouses/serviced apartments that could be a cheaper alternative to hotels. It also depends what you priorities concerning the hotel are - a place around shopping opportunities and restaurant, or close to the main attractions etc. some of the not too overpriced hotels would be Jacaranda, Fairview, Country Lodge and possibly Panafric

    As the other poster already mentioned, "reasonably priced" can mean different things for different people.

    I usually stay in a back-packing sort of accommodation in Nairobi, preferably the Wildebeest Camp:

    The disadvantage though is that is relatively far away from the city centre, off the Ngong Road, and you will need a taxi to get to and from town.
