Is there such a thing as jellyfish season? Basically wondering if there's a specific month there are more of them in the water. If so, when is it? Thanks so much!

And are attributed to unusually high water temperatures, among other things. I have witnessed large jellyfish invasions in Virgina (near Portsmouth) and in Florida, as well. But I do not think that any of these were considered a normal or seasonal occurance.
