HI FOLKS, thanks for all your suggestions!! Now two simple questions about shopping&dining out!! 1)What's the main area for shopping in Nagoya?! 2)Where can I found nice restaurants in Nagoya?!! I'll come alone so I wanna know if it's common enough to eat alone in restaurants in Japan or I'm going to be seen like an alien?!!
Hi. I believe Sakae area is one of the most popular area in Nagoya. There are many shops and the huge underground shopping mall. It takes about 10minutes to get to the area from Nagoya station by subway. Another is around Nagoya station,includes the underground shopping mall. The way of eating alone in a restaurant in Japan is common like many other countries. You can find many restaurants at both of the areas,so don't worry. :) Have fun!
