Is it also possible to see the monkeys in the summer or is it a waste of time to go to this area in June/July?

Agreed. It disturbs their natural environmental adaptations. It also causes them to come to depend too much on humans for food when they have natural food available in another area. That sort of thing always leads to stupid humans doing things they shouldn't, then having monkeys bite them and getting killed by the authorities for behaving naturally.

I would love to see them in the hot springs in winter, but no, I would never go in the summer when they are baited to come down from their natural environment up in the hills.
