Hello! We're planning a trip to Gota Village in Camsur this October. Since we're already in Bicolandia, I don't want to miss the view of Mayon. Do you think its advisable we go all the way to Cagsawa for a glimpse? If so, how do we get from Gota Village to Cagsawa? Thanks in advance! Nita
never been to Gota, but your plan is possible if you leave early in Gota (caramoan). if my calculation is right, travel time from Gota to Cagsawa (Daraga) is 3 1/2 hours. best time to be there is 4 to 530 pm. Mayon is always hiding from the clouds between 9am til 4pm.

nope. there is a chance you will see mayon along the highway from san fernando to naga on perfect sunny sky, a small triangular cone smaller than a 5 centavo coin from afar. better if youd like to see the majestic mayon is in polanggui to camalig albay. thats the best mayon view for me. its about 1 hour from naga.
