I am heading to Fiji in May and I plan to finish up my PADI open water dive certification. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I could do there? New Zealand is the next stop and I have been invited to go zorbing and I think bungee jumping there by some friends of a coworker. Australia - would like to go dive the great barrier reef and deep sea fishing. Shoot me some mail if you have some other cool ideas on my vacation. Thanks!!

Hi Everyone, We have a 1 night stopover in Nadi in October by the time we get out of the airport it will be around 6.30pm and have to be back there again at around 6am in the morning. We are 2 adults & 2 children (11 & 13) my choice is either stay at the Raffles Gateway hotel across the road from the airport - easy location and apparently nice pool but no feeling of being in Fiji or else the First Landing Resort 15mins taxi ride from airport - further away and pool not as nice but right on the beach with more of a feeling of being in Fiji even for a short time - what does everyone think? I can't seem to make up my mind.I would welocme your thoughts, Michele

Me and my family will arrive on Dec26 at 6am to Nadi and have to take a flight to Sydney on thursday 28 at 9am (guess have to be at airport by 6am)...we would like to stay a night on an island and the best suitable option for our budget would be Wayalailai, has anyone been on that place? So I need to take an express bus from Nadi to Suva. Do you need a reservation to get on the bus? And do you need to be somewhere at a certain time, if so when and where? How much is the ticket in FJD? Is there someone I can call to let them know that I'm coming. If anyone has any clue please let me know. Thank you

hi everyone, i just picked up a one-way ticket to australia via Nadi. i have a 3 hour layover and would love to just step out of the airport and check out...the city--or whatever i can squeeze. is this even plausible? how is transportation from the airport to the city? hope to hear from you all thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm arriving in Nadi airport on the evening of the 4th Sept. I only have four days but my flight gets in too late to make it to one of the islands on my first night. Any suggestions for a cheap but decent backpackers that is easy access from the airport??? Also I'm still undecided about what resort to head for. Not sure if beachcomber would really be my thing - sounds like it might be a bit too customised for backpackers! Some one suggested Nananu island lodge and someone else mentioned octopus resort.... Anyone have any ideas for poor disorganised me?!?!?! Any suggestions greatly appreciated!! :-)

Hi everyone, My buddy and I are planning a global trip around the world, and I would like to just buy one way tickets as I go. I did some quick price checks, and it doesn't appear to be that much more expensive. But can I travel to countries where an exit(on going) ticket is required without an exit ticket? I don't want to buy the next ticket until I'm ready, and I want to stay very flexable, so I would really love to do the one way tickets. Does anyone know of any tricks, or do you think they even check? I'm flying from the US, and my first stop is going to be Fiji, then NZ, Australia, Thialand, Italy, backback through Europe, and then back home. Thanks for all your help!
