Hi, im from ireland, and this summer me and bout 7of my friends want to work in myrtle beach, so i was wondering if anyone knew of any affordable accommodation and also what sort of jobs are available there?! also, i read somewhere that july to september was hurricane season there, now that didn't scare me off first time i read it but i was just wondering, after reading some comments, should i be turned off by this?!Please help me in my decision because we keep changing our minds, between san diego, montauk, cape codd and myrtle beach and are just all confused now, thanks, Grace,xxx
Jobs would be retail/service type jobs since it is a tourist area. As far as worrying about hurricanes, they do sometimes hit in that area, but not that often and hurricanes don't develope over night. There's almost always warnings days ahead of landfall. So, I wouldn't worry about those. Sorry, but I can't help you with house. I can only suggest looking for rental properties online. That should give you a great idea of what's available and cost.
