Fish and mosquitoes?

Hi all, I'll be in Mykonos for a short beach holiday in two weeks, but haven't been able to find out the following information: 1) is there much snorkelling to be done there, esp. in the area where I will be staying, Elia Beach? Not sure whether to pack my bulky snorkelling gear 2) is there a mosquito or sandfly problem around the island at the height of summer? I am pretty susceptible to bites and wondered if I should bring extra repellant and stuff Thanks for any advice offered. Kaz
