Does anyone have anymore info on Muskegon, especially during the summer festival over the 4th??? Like do's and don'ts and general tips for the trip? Thanks!
The whole Michigan shore line is fun during the 4th. The festival in Muskegon is a lot of fun, but we usually head over to Grand Haven to go drinking. They have a really nice beach there, but it's crazy packed and will be hard to get to because of the traffic. Muskegon has its good and bad parts, but if you're staying by the beach you'll be fine. You might want to look at some of the smaller towns around that area because they have more charm (Grand Haven, Whitehall, etc.). Have fun!
