Visiting Munnar between July 25-30, is right time?

I am planning to visit Munnar & Thekkady between July 25 -30. Can any one advise whther this is right time to go? The resort guys explained that the rainy season will be over by this time. Will it rain a lot in July end?

    Presently the SouthEast monsoon is active over Kerala.Munnar and Thekkady being hill stations, weather is unpredictable.Since this is monsoon season, expect rains most of the time and get prepared.Ofcourse it raiins a lot on the plains.
