I am going to visit Munich for a week. I have read that the best solution is to buy a ticket card for 7 days. And so is my question. Where can I buy such a card on Sunday/Monday? I want to use mainly s-bahn and u-bahn but also trams and buses. I probably will travel through all zones. I have read that I need photos for such card. Is it true? Thank you in advance!
Just came back from Munich, you do not need any photo to buy the 7 day pass, just go to a ticket counter and buy it, it is called ISAR 7 day pass and cost 15.80 Euro ( for Zone 1 - 4). You can buy it any day. If you want to travel to Austria you can buy a better pass which is called Bayern Ticket, they give buy one get one free, so you can share it with someone else. nirlay

just be aware that the Isarkarte lasts from a monday to the following sunday, go into mvv, the Munich public transport page, select your language, and you will see the price tarriffs covering the various zones.just make sure you buy the appropriate one as you don,t want to buy a ticket for areas that you don,t really need.
