Solln is a local station served by the S-Bahn and (on weekends) Bayerische Oberland Bahn (BOB) local trains. S-7 (direction Höllriegelskreuth) run every 20 minutes and will get you from the main train station (S-bahn tracks underground - follow the green "S" signs) to Solln in about 15 minutes. BOB trains go to Solln every hour weekends only. They depart every hour and take about 10 minutes to get to Solln. See

One minor correction: S-7 direction Wolfratshausen will get you to Solln. Some trains in that direction terminate in Höllriegelskreuth.
